Breathe

A friend once said to me, "It feels like a lot because it is a lot."


That was back in 2020, at the start of the pandemic. I was feeling a lot of feelings. I wish I could say I survived that time well, but I didn't.


This year has a lot of repeat feels as 2020, and while not as bad by any stretch, these things (both good and bad), are pressing those bruised points. I'm aware of growing anxiety personally, among friends, among strangers.


Do you relate to this? Because if you do, I am wondering if we can help one another.


And if you don't, I am wondering if you could help others.


When my heart starts to flutter, I remind myself to breathe. How can we help each other right now? What do you need personally? What can you offer?


Whether as a connector (I need others right now) or an encourager (I've got you friend) - this is a time that many feel nervous, stressed, fearful - and we need each other.
