Whenever life feels overwhelming, I need to step back for some perspective. First, I try to focus on gratitude. Where is there joy? Where is there appreciation? Where is there love?
Second, I try to create bite sized chunks of life that are more manageable. I may not be able to wrap my head around everything right this moment, but I can center on the very next thing. What is one small thing I can accomplish that helps me check off a to-do item? How can I make one small step forward?
If things this week feel a bit overwhelming, slow down and take two - 1: gratitude, 2: one small step. There will always be a to-do list, but my mindset can make a difference. Power yours with gratitude and small steps.
