Take the Leap

In 2010, an adorable movie came out called Leap Year. Starring Amy Adams and Matthew Goode, the story focuses on an Irish tradition where on Leap Day, February 29, women are allowed to make marriage proposals. Through a series of unfortunate but predictable events, Anna and Declan end up finding each other - not the original plan. In the midst of the ups and downs of their journey, Declan says to Anna, “Why don't you stop trying to control everything in the known universe? Have a little faith that it will all work out.”

Today is Leap Day, which we only get roughly every four years. There is a great deal of science and history around Leap Day, as well as a number of legends and traditions. So, what will you make of your Leap Day? Where will you plan to take the leap?

As Declan asks, what if just for today, you stopped trying to control everything? What if you just have a little faith it will all work out?

What would you do if you knew you couldn't fail?

It isn't that often that we get a chance to enjoy an entire extra day. Why not make the most of it?

Your challenge today is to risk something - be a little brave - try something fun - take a leap. Let us know what happens next.
