What a pain...

Last week I tweaked something in my back that led to acute hip pain that I have been managing every single day, every single hour. There is nothing like being centered on a problem with your help to really make you appreciate how we typically move through each day without even noticing how well our bodies work. It has literally been a huge pain since it happened.


But I've also noticed lately the pain we carry that we can control or release. This may not be physical pain, but may be something internal you are carrying and holding tightly to these days. Is there anything that feels like such a burden to keep dragging around? Is there anything you can let go of today?


With my hip and back, I've been so fortunate to have experts and friends and friends who are experts and family who have helped me while I've been sideways on the couch. I have a lot to be thankful for in the midst of this pain. Who is on your team that needs to hear your love and thanks today?


Sometimes we can't get the pain to go away, but we might take small steps like these that help alleviate some small level of suffering.
